I agree that one should ski the fall line, but I do not want to be relegated to someone else’s idea of a proper turn radius. I prefer to ski with giant, super-g like turns as I scream “suck on my rooster tail, you wanker traditionalists…” - Ty, GoestoZero

Flatiron Early Season
You can hold off on waxing those skis for now. I did a quick run up to the Needle shoulder and over to the Flatiron this weekend. I took snowshoes, expecting mud at the bottom and postholing at the top, but there was even less snow than I expected - the snowshoes never came off the pack.
